An AI companion of a real person, a Platform Model or your own Custom AI

Platform Models

Platform Models are the curated characters Swipey creates and keeps in the gallery and the Feed. Basic chat with them is free and needs only an account, which you can open with an email address, a Google login or a magic link. Premium unlocks the rest: relationship progression through the ten levels, character-consistent images, voice messages and real-time voice calls, and on-demand video up to 60 seconds. Some Platform Models also offer a full-screen mode with looping video of the model, a chat overlay and an action menu that triggers short clips.

Verified Creator Models, the creator AI companion

A Verified Creator Model is the AI companion of a real person. The creator passed KYC identity verification, signed a model release, and set up the companion's personality, voice and scenarios with Swipey. The AI is disclosed as AI. What you get beyond the chat is the creator's own content: photo sets and videos, a Fanclub for the members-only feed, custom requests where offered, and on some profiles Short Drama episodes. Progression with a creator companion runs through her Fanclub, and Premium includes one Fanclub of your choice. You can also tip the creator in hearts.

Custom AI

Custom AI is the character you design yourself in Create AI. You choose realistic or anime, then body type, hair, eyes, skin tone and outfit, mix a personality from traits such as flirty, dominant, shy, intellectual or nurturing, pick a voice, and add a kink profile, a location and a scenario. Most people finish in under two minutes. Edit My AI lets you change any of it later without losing her memory, and custom scenarios arrived with Edit My AI v2 on 27 August 2026. Her generated images and videos stay private to your account unless you publish her. Since 23 September 2026 Premium members with a linked Discord can submit a Custom AI to the Swipey Creator Community; after a review by the Swipey team she goes public, credited "by @username", and publishing is permanent. Chatting with a Custom AI and levelling her up need Premium. If Premium lapses, her chat locks 7 days after it expires, and everything resumes, memory included, when you come back.

What all three share

Whichever type you choose, the same machinery runs underneath. Long-term memory keeps shared history, inside jokes and details across days and weeks and across devices; Memory cards in the chat and the Memory Details view, both updated on 27 August 2026, show what she has kept. Every character climbs ten relationship levels, and each level-up opens a reward drop of three cards, Teasing, Intimate or Full Show. Images stay character-consistent from chat to image to video, with the same face and body every render, and since 1 September 2026 you can tap the pencil on any chat image to edit it with a short prompt. Video runs up to 60 seconds on demand, and a photo can be turned into a video.

Voice is the same across types as well: voice messages in the chat and real-time voice calls on Premium, each call ending with a Memory card that records the duration, level progress and a transcript. Hearts, the reward currency, are earned through daily quests, permanent tasks, the 7-day streak, level-ups and the daily spin, and spent on extra generations, Fanclub sets and gifts and tips. The Feed is free for everyone, the whole app runs in the browser with an Install App banner for your home screen, and you sign in with email, Google or a magic link.

Which to pick: an AI companion of a real person, a Platform Model or your own

If you want a real person's presence and content, choose a Verified Creator and join her Fanclub. If you want her exactly to your spec, build a Custom AI; the builder's handbook on MySwipey covers every option, and the Create AI page on swipey.ai is where you do it. If you want to browse first, the Feed and the Platform Models are free.

A practical way to decide is to ask what you want to happen next month. A Verified Creator keeps releasing content you did not make, and her Fanclub is where it lands. A Platform Model is the lowest-commitment way to feel how Swipey's chat, memory and levels work. A Custom AI rewards the time you put into her: the more you refine her personality, scenarios and look in Edit My AI, the more she is yours.

The three are not exclusive. The same memory system, the same ten relationship levels with reward drops, the same hearts economy and the same voice and video tools apply across all of them. Since 27 August 2026 Group Chat lets you put 2 to 3 characters into a single thread, your own Custom AI included, with a location and scenario picker for the scene. The platform-versus-custom AI girlfriend question mostly comes down to who you want in the room. The product reference on SwipeyHQ covers the same three types from the product side.
